This got me thinking though, I don’t think I’d be one bit opposed to a Laine vs Win pick deal. Big gamble but we can absorb his contract, it’s a 2 years gamble, still world class talent, for a low 1st, I take the chance.

Laine couldn't be any worse a gamble than Gomez was or than Dubois would have been. As long as he's not got a ton of term left I'd take a chance on MSL being able to wring something good out of him.

Yep, but the overall risk is low (2 years), and in the odd chance that he’s rejuvenated in a new environment, the reward could be massive.
