Let's just say that I would be foursquare against going after Zegras under our old management and coaching staff. They'd be too busy trying to break him down and teach him a lesson about who's in charge. But with Marty it's going to be all good.

Then take into consideration it's a bottom of the barrel team looking to add youngers instead of substracting some?

Lots of red flags that bothers me about Zegras. He fits the profile for age and skills but not sure about character. If cheap than maybe, but I wouldn’t overpay for him.

IMO, he lacks compete, plays a selfish game, and struggles with adversity. If there wasn’t character issues, he wouldn’t be available.

He might be . . . but there's usually some amount of risk when you make a trade.
