Anything beyond the top 20 is usually pretty much a crap shoot though. Regardless of year. There's nothing great after the top 7 maybe 8.
There could be a stupid GM out there.

Other teams know it's a weak draft this year
And you don't see legit centers traded for those picks...Anything beyond the top 20 is usually pretty much a crap shoot though. Regardless of year.
Same response as aboveno matter....there's always guys on the board that several teams will pine for
Not with those picks alone, no. That's why you include maybe multiple draft picks or a prospect, or both. There will be teams starting their own rebuild, and those assets will be attractive to them. And you don't see legit centers traded for those picks...
We'll sign Granlund and you'll be happy.
I edited my post - Newhook would be my initial instinct to include. But I'm not Kent Hughes. He is smarter than I am, and I suspect he has some ideas as to who to go for that I, as a fan and definitely not an NHL GM would know to target. How am I a pessimist? I agreed with everything else you posted. I don't see help coming from this draft.
Who would you trade in addition to those picks and for whom?
Seems to be a pretty good draft to me. Just no clear top pick.
Best guy after a few years could easily be a guy taken 10th.
Newhook has little value. To get quality you have to give up quality.
Just sign Granlund.
¿Por qe?no...not a good fit
¿Por qe?
I don't think he signs in Montreal
It doesn't make Granlund a bad fit though
Stop gapdo better
don't aim so small
