it is easy to be nice when people are fine when you loseIt's also telling that once there was the slightest bit of expectations on the team, St. Louis starts to be a little less enjoyable to be around.

which would be ironic given we got rid of KovacevicI don't think they'll actually trade for a RHD.
It wouldn't shock me if they poached one off of waivers like they did with Kovacevic, though.
We could use him right now. Might have made more sense to get rid of Savard instead if we needed to move a RHD.which would be ironic given we got rid of Kovacevic
It's something that was discussed this summer. Will Xhekaj becoming anything more than a guy who punches people? If he doesn't, he's going to move around a lot before finishing his career in the AHL. If he can figure out how to be steady, he'll have a long career.I don’t think MSL comes off as bad in that clip. WiFi on the other hand….
Well he's been doing that since he's been here. The shine's worn off pretty quickly, hasn't it?
It's never a good sign when the coach tells the reporter to answer his own question.
As soon as he's started getting endorsements you knew that management was going to cut him down to size. That train is never late. The shine's worn off pretty quickly, hasn't it?

Nilan scored 21 one seasonThe Habs need a John Ferguson in the lineup, not a John Kordic. And because Xhekaj is a defenseman, you can't hide him at the end of the bench like an extra forward. Defenseman who are dressed must actually play a regular shift and they'll be on the ice more than a 4th line forward. So if Xhekaj is to have a future, he needs to get his shit together the way Chris Nilan did years ago when he morphed from being a one dimensional enforcer to being a 19 goal scorer on a good checking line.
Being able to beat people up is great but if you're a liability as a hockey player every time you're on the ice then you're ultimately as useless as Reaves or Simmonds.
Hmm. I thought 19 was his career high in 85-86.Nilan scored 21 one season

Savard , MM are vetsMA Godin suggested they look for a veteran D this summer. Too late now, cost would be very high.
Just need a stop gap until DR and LM are fully readyI think we could use a solid top 4 RHD.in the 26-29 yo age signed for 3-4+ years.
