Today pretty much confirms to me that MSOs would be flying if it wasn't for the shitty broad market. Amazing strength today.

Timing seemed to align with Cuomo briefly mentioning that he's still working on weed legalization. Was already in the news so pretty dumb reasoning but that's likely what did it because the volume came the second he mentioned it in his presser.

full disclosure: I sold the last last chunk of my SHG the other day at 1.32.....feels like dead money for a while (can always get back in but at this point I'm still not convinced it's not too "pumpy" for me) and there were too many bargains in MSO land to snap up.

On the plus side, unless we get complete incompetence (likely to happen) there could be three states totalling the population of ~40 million going legal in 2022. PA, NY, NJ. After seeing what happened to Thumb and Cresco after Illinois went legal I'm pretty fucking intrigued at the thought of that trifecta legalizing all within the same timeframe. That's the kinda thing that's probably more important than any piece of legislation for these companies, at least operationally.
