I think he genuinely thought 1OA was his god given Wright…I think he genuinely wanted to be a Hab.

Looks like anger caused by either entitlement and/or rejection to me. Either way, both can be very toxic and I suspect the habs dodged a bullet.
Hopefully they didn't need to dodge the second bullet.
Nice swing for the home run pick with Mesar
Habs went for skill and speed
Refreshing change from drafting a potential safe 2 way player who needs every box checked off just to keep a roster spot
If he can score and or create scoring chances you could live with him not being physical or iffy defensively
I guarantee that he's very disappointed, but in the long run, this is probably best for him.
Yep, I think he will see that Seattle was the best place for him.I guarantee that he's very disappointed, but in the long run, this is probably best for him.
He’s been told for years that he’s the best ‘04 player in the world. Of course he thinks it’s his god given Wright.I think he genuinely thought 1OA was his god given Wright…
If we still had the previous management regime I would be worried that Slaf would become another Subban and would also wind up being traded for a "ka-RACK-ter" player simply because his personality was too big.Slaf really seems like a "Prime Time" type guy like Ovechkin or Subban... he could thrive in Montreal. Wright may or may not have played very well in Montreal, but he definitely doesn't feel like a guy that would thrive like Slaf.
He is clearly excited to be here and that could push him into stardom. Don’t worry Geeman will tell us it should’ve been a PTOYeah...I don't like it at all
