Laval Rocket Thread

5-2 final.

Farrell and Mailloux each with 1G, 1A.

Trudeau, Xhekaj and Gignac with the other goals. Kidney with an assist.

Dobes with 24 saves for the dub.
 
4-1 loss to Belleville. Heineman with the only goal. Xhekaj and Ferrell with the assists. Dobes made 22 saves on 25 shots.
 
3-2 win, nice debut for Kaskisuo, he made 36 saves for the win. 1G,1A for Roy . 2A for Yaremko and 2A for Xhekaj.

I don't think they can keep Arber down for long, some tough decisions on D need to be made soon.
 
There's no worry about keeping Xhekaj down in the AHL, the same way Roy & Mailloux are down there.

Let him get minutes and focus on playing hockey instead of being the resident tough guy.

Also, since he's in Laval, figure out if he's comfortable enough to play on the right side. If he can, Krusty's idea of a Struble-Xhekaj third pairing sounds like a mighty good idea to me.

Most left D can play right as they were the best on their team from Initiation to Midget and the best left D usually plays the right side.
 
The Xhekaj dilemma will be to figure out if he’s worth more on our team or in a trade, because I think he might be one of our most intriguing trade piece given his profile.
 
it really comes down to whether MSL feels Xhekaj is a good student of the game and will add some smarts to his raw tools
