I wouldnt rush Mailloux next year and give Reinbacher , Angstrom and Hutson time to develop
 
There's absolutely no rush for Xhekaj, Mailloux & Roy to be in the NHL.

Let them play and let them get some minutes under them. At the end of the year when the veterans start getting traded (fingers crossed), then you can give 'em some NHL time. But for now, minutes, minutes and more minutes.
 
I like that a pairing is created and honed in Laval. Familiarity is important in D pairings and if they complement each other's game like that consistently then it makes the job seamless.

Rocket beat Utica again 4-3 in the shootout. 1G, 1A for Gignac and a shootout goal. The dynamic duo hooked up on the 2nd Laval goal, Mailloux scored, Xhekaj with the primary assist. 8 shots on goal between the two of them. Another good game for Kaskisuo , 36 saves for the win.
