Laval Rocket Thread

Interested to see how Mailloux looks tonight without Xhekaj by his side.

With X: 16 GP, 14 pts, +7.
Without X: 21 GP, 10 pts, -12.
 
Trudeau doesn't want to be the forgotten prospect on D. He scored tonight and has 5 points in the last 6 games.

PK Subban in his first year in the pros was a fucking gangster in the AHL. He was so dynamic and looked so much better than everyone else. He stepped into the middle of the NHL playoffs and didn't just looked like he belonged, he was excellent.

Mailloux's putting up points to his credit, but I'd pump the breaks a little.
 
Kaskisuo has come back down to Earth, gave up 4 goals on 10 shots and was pulled. Laval down 4-1 after one period. Heineman with the only goal. Barron with the assist.

I still think the Montreal D will looks very different in two years.

That's fairly obvious. There's a good chance that at the start of the 2025-2026 season, the only defenseman from this current team that is on that roster is Kaiden Guhle and maybe Arber Xhekaj. Everyone else is probably gone.
