Not sure why ppl get so upset when someone sees something different than them.

I enjoy hearing different opinions especially because I don't have time to understand every team and every prospect.

I read a bit about hutson during the draft and GGpX (iirc) was talking about him so I wanted him. Was happy we picked him. Of course I also wanted Hughes.

Not a fan boy but I like to hear his opinion, especially on prospects, he's not afraid to go against consensus, which is refreshing, and he's often right. All others are too afraid to make bold predictions, just so that they can have a safety net if they're wrong.

I don’t think so, although it’s always nice to be validated. And he’s not always against the grain, there is just some players he likes more, or less, than others. Some other guys he’s onboard with the majority opinion.

No, that's why YOU go against the grain.

Boisvert simply doesn't evaluate players like most others do. He doesn’t place as much emphasis on certain factors that the majority of scouts think are important and relies more on other factors which most scouts think are less important. He's not always right but he's more right than most and his process, to those of us who like him, makes good sense.

So true. Most media ppl are too scared to actually say anything negative or to go off script because they don't want to piss ppl off.

I remember awhile back that for CHL players if you just ignore everything and just draft based on points per game you would crush the scouts.

Wonder if that is still the case.
