Starting to get worried that kadri, franson, gardiner all seem to be regressing this season from where they were in the playoffs. Can't have it where we can't develop our talent with this coaching staff.
 
laviolette went to the finals in 2010. he posted 600+ winning percentages in 10-11 and 11-12.

he was fired for going 0-3 this year and because last year's flyers team, which you have repeatedly called overrated, finished just one game over 500.

he's a good caoch.

Leafs should hire Denis Savard. He got a raw deal in Chicago, and would nurture skilled players like Kessel, Reilly, Gardiner and especially Kadri
 
Cup winning coaches can be too set in stone on certain things because it worked before. Carlyle doesn't have the same roster that he did in anaheim but coaches like he does

only one current coach has more than 1 cup.

it says more about luck and transience than it says about whether a coach can win on another team.
 
I think the issue is this is a really young group that's playing scared and scrambly. They need someone to bring in some structure, that will play the young players through their mistakes and that won't lose his shit on them. I'm all for Lavi though, they've obviously tuned out Carlyle and this is just going to get worse tomorrow night.

STOP BEING such a hardheaded prick and recognize that there are issues with this team from the players to the coach.

Making excuses for any part of the team being not at fault is poor ****ing judgement. STOP, MAKING EXCUSES and recognize the goddamn reality.
