Leafs' Prospect/Marlies Discussion Thread!

Because of that this news isn’t surprising. Still, though. Fuck. 21 years old.
 
The awful speed at which he went from on top of the world as a first round pick to having lost his life in just a three year span is particularly horrible. Like, on the day of the draft, with all the exuberance he must’ve felt, to think that this is how things end up. Heartbreaking.
 
Marlies sign D David Farrance. 24yr old 3rd round pick of Nashville.

Played at the same school as Lane Hutson.

Farrance (20): 34gms, 14gls, 43pts (34gl/104pt pace)
Hutson (18): 39gms, 15gls, 48pts (32gl/101pt pace)

though those ages obviously make a big difference.

then again, Farrance isn't a midget, either.

I've seen enough to conclude Farrance >>>> Hutson. what a steal.
 
Marlies sign former 1st round pick Jay O'Brien out of ncaa. NCAA stats look pretty meh since being drafted tho.
