I'm on team lgm when it comes to enjoying what we currently get to watch, for sure. Unfortunately for me, part of that enjoyment is the stress and anxiety that comes along with it. It's all part of the experience. But I absolutely do get a lot of enjoyment out of watching this talent for 82 games. It's gonna be hard to continue to be as much of a diehard fan when they inevitably suck ass again.
I think this is a pretty good balance.I don’t think you can do away with that stress & anxiety without ending up just not caring anymore. Like, on a micro level, being pissed off in the first period of last night’s game made the comeback all the more enjoyable.
I’m just mostly putting a kibosh on the “the regular season doesn’t matter at all because they will inevitably lose in the playoffs” attitude I’ve mostly had since the Columbus & Montreal playoff losses.

but this is his favourite part of fandom!jeez presto, I don't play a doctor on ForumIce but save those panic attacks for the playoffs. No wonder you have nothing left after an 82 game grind.

The panic attacks are just a side effect from the covid clot shot, don't worry.I totally get it because cigarettes were my dad's favourite part of being alive!!!
