Les Habitants Prospects Thread

Only leverage he has is pull a Cutter Gauthier to force a trade by threatening to go college UFA route in 2yrs or he’ll sign ELC IF guaranteed a starting roster spot as Logan Cooley did
Ya. If he doesn't want to play in Montreal. Sure.

Did PeckerHead mention a specific Sabres prospect? Coz if not…
Pelley went through a barrage of Habs and Sabres names (prospects + rostered players) during his presser after canning Treliving

My takeaway w Athletic article, which I think the authors did an excellent job with:

Humza Teherany, the chief strategy and innovation officer at MLSE is who I speculate will be the wizard behind the curtain - the one approving the various sports team GMs moves / providing them with marching orders, based on his AI outputs

Whatever or whoever is in charge… the Make Beliefs org looks primed for being raped of assets & HuGo needs to be THE ONES who accomplish the dirty deed ..

Yep….but that’s still leverage, and i trust Brisson knows what he’s doing
IF as Krusty speculated re: Hage feeling scorned about name in trade rumors:

Hage signed is easier to trade… maybe he's waiting until the late June trade window is closed before signing….

He obviously wasn’t staying on NHL roster & wasn’t going to see playing time in playoffs … that’s the crux of the issue

I also think Pacioretty who knows a thing or two about being a 1st round pick / high valued Habs prospect (drafted at almost identical spot) has shared w Hage how he was rushed before being ready
well if Max is whispering in his ears I get why Hage is indecisive in signing, Max bounced up and down from the Bulldogs and Habs for 3 seasons.

Max told management to leave him in AHL until they are ready to keep him in NHL....if i remember correctly, he was fed up and told them he wants to stay in AHL until they made up their mind

Wasn't Jacque Martin the coach at that time?
Couldn't not blame him

I think the reason why hockey is full of brothers and sons of former players is you need a lot of fucking money to get your kids thru the ranks… a lot of families are simply shut out which creates a less diverse pool of players

I was gonna blame our woke society, but your explanation is much more rationale
