He says the town is okay. There's only one bar in town that let's freshman (with fake ID's) in but that will improve next year. The Blue Ridge Mountain area is very nice and the campus is beautiful.

81 can be a nightmare traffic-wise. It's mostly just two lanes, tons of trucks, and lots of colleges between JMU and NC State and UNC.
