Have they mentioned anything yet about parking?
Not that I've seen, but one assume they'll be offering pre-paid parking once we get closer. It'll probably be offensively expensive, but ... whatever.Have they mentioned anything yet about parking?
Fortunately* there aren't a ton of options.$50 will be the absolute minimum for the Stadium series game. I'm expecting $75. That is going to cause a huge mess in that area as people try to park close by to avoid the ridiculous parking fee.
Staying at the Hilton at the arena; gonna walk or UberHave they mentioned anything yet about parking?
That's ... good? I guess. The league announced that the game will be broadcast on ABC instead of ESPN, as originally scheduled.
Can we go as well with a “no way in hell list”? Clay Aiken, Fantasia, Kellie Pickler.Ok, so Bell Biv DeVoe did the Anthem in Boston with the Boston Pops and The Black Keys played at the first intermission. We already speculated that Darius Rucker would stick around from the concert on Friday to sing the Anthem on Saturday. But for intermissions, who? Scotty McCreary? You know he’s going to be at the game regardless. Luke Combs? He’s more of a Charlotte guy. Eric Church? He cancelled a concert to see UNC at the Final Four last year. The Canes also used ”The Outsiders” several years ago.
Clay Aiken did our Anthem at the 2011 All-Star Game. He also performed during a pre-2004 lockout game intermission while skating. But he hasn’t released an album since 2012, Fantasia since 2019, Kellie Pickler since 2013. So someone more current? And yes, Hootie haven’t released an album since 2019 either, Darius Rucker hasn’t had one since 2017. So if you want current, it’s none of the above. Can we go as well with a “no way in hell list”? Clay Aiken, Fantasia, Kellie Pickler.
I really like the idea of Darius Rucker sticking around for the game and adding some in-game entertainment. Luke Combs would be a good get if you’re sticking to NC natives…Scotty McCreery more of a meh.
I support this.Or Sarah Shook & the Disarmers as long as they play the feelgood hit of the decade, "Fuck Up"
And I also support this. BJ would rearrange AA's entire touring schedule to be there ... and would kill itJ Cole and American Aquarium! I'm meh on Darius Rucker, but at least he's from *a* Carolina. The wrong one, but at least it is one.
If you haven't seen them live, that band kicks serious backside.Just picked up a few tickets for her show at the Lincoln on January 28
