I said all along that its likely the two main parties who will want to tussle, with the others along for the ride.

The Conservatives will want their chance at victory, and the Liberals, if they sense they can get a majority will want to jump on it.

The Bloc and NDP won't want to go back to the polls but they can't stop it if the big boys want to dance.
 
The canadian conservative twittersphere is cracking me up tonight. They're beside themselves that Trudeau cut off Scheer's speech with his own, calling Trudeau all sorts of names. No humility, egotistical, no class etc.

Not a single fucking mention that Scheer did the same thing to Singh.

Yeah, basically. There's enough differences that the Libs can trigger an election at virtually anytime if they really wanted to, and they certainly will want to go back to the polls to get that majority. The big question in the air is whether Scheer can survive within his party. If he gets punted and a more progressive leader like MacKay takes over, I think he'd eat a lot into the Libs support, so they probably wouldn't be as anxious to go back to the polls. Especially since a lot of people on the left probably like a lot of the ideas that the NDP would be pushing for, so they might get hit hard there too.

Most likely though Scheer hangs on, continues to be an ineffective leader, and then like a year and a bit down the road we do this all over again. Of course, if even more comes up related to SNC, I could see us go back to an election even sooner, especially if Trudeau fell further in the polls and you started seeing some Libs jump.

Trudeau was pretty blatant.

Singh got most of his speech off. Scheer got about 10 words into his and then Trudeau was out there with a big fuck you.

I loved it by the way.

Man I can’t take another four years of this clown lol. While I ain’t the biggest Scheer fan either. Both parties need new leaders.

Ps. I guess I’ll start washing my guns so I can get good value when they knock on my door to buy back my legally obtained property.
