even his dad wasn't as hated as he is
Spend some time in Alberta before you decide. Most people here hated JT long before he ever won an election just because of his last name.even his dad wasn't as hated as he is
and JT proved them right...I was a party member and donor since university and he drove me awaySpend some time in Alberta before you decide. Most people here hated JT long before he ever won an election just because of his last name.
getting obliterated in the polls, for months.I just saw the news. I don’t keep up on Canadian politics at all but this shocked me. Is there something specific that drove the resignation?
polls were predicting a generational shitkickingWas he definitely tracking to lose the next election then? Felt like he was PM forever, regardless of his popularity.
can use the money for all the additional repairs his car needs cause roads are no longer maintainedyour taxes will go down
no ragebait algos back theneven his dad wasn't as hated as he is
Because he didn't lick the boots of the wealthy and you resent having to pay taxes.and JT proved them right...I was a party member and donor since university and he drove me away
Let's hope for minority government then.We will have to endure at least one term of Poilievre to teach people a lesson about why they should never vote conservative. I am confident that by the time he is booted out of office, Poilievre will replace JT as the country's most hated individual, and for far better reasons too.
Not a big Poilievre fan but most opposition leaders rarely lay out there policy until an actual election is called. And if the Liberals replace Trudeau with someone who is smart and has no compunction about playing dirty, Poilievre will be forced at some point to elaborate on his plans beyond just the slogans like "Bring it home". A smart Liberal leader will force him to define what exactly he intends to "bring home". Trumpian fascism?
Nah. PP will win. Trump, PP, Smith. Lovely time for me.
The only question imo is whether or not Canadians get spooked into a minority instead of a majority. A lot can happen in 8-9 months.
if he was gonna step down, the time was like a year+ ago.resigned to the reality we're getting pierre as PM but glad Trudeau stepped down.
