A 60-something dude who immigrated to Canada from India 20 years ago, doesn’t speak a lick of French, is a back-bench MP no one has ever heard of, has ties/sympathies to Hindu nationalists and who, in the wake of India assassinating a Canadian citizen on Canadian soil, was mostly concerned with defending India.

If you were tasked with finding the least electable candidate for Canadian PM possible at this moment in time, I’m not sure you could find a better option than this guy.

He'll eb running up until the day they ask for the first payment, in which case he'll bow out. The fact that he announced anything means more people have heard of him now than knew him a week ago.
