The good news is that this is the kick in the ass we've needed for a generation or more to sort out the inter provincial trade issues, become more self reliant on the downstream end of our energy industry, be more economically diversified in general instead of always picking the low hanging fruit of moving our raw material a few hours south. "Value add" doesn't just mean turning our aluminum into car parts.

They don't take Canadian money in Tuscany, so I'm fine with it.
I am indifferent.
But I am also wanting to buy in Spain or Italy and won’t until I figure out a way to citizenship without a language test, paying their taxes and not feeling confident long term about staying more than 90 days at a time.

Adopting the Euro would be the least of my worries. Gimme some of that sweet, sweet socialism. 6 weeks paid vacation. Free healthcare that's actually free and covers everything including vision and dental. Where do I sign?

If Trudeau had a do-over he would not have announced he is done as leader. I saw this coming. The reaction to the tariffs thing has brought the country together the most I've seen since 95' referendum. And Trump did this. It's ironic he's helped the Liberals so much.
