Poilievre has tied himself to Trump and Musk. He can't distance himself. His party is a member of Stephen Harper's International Democracy Union, which is an alliance of right wing shitbag parties around the globe. And Musk endorsed Pee-Pee for Prime Minister, an endorsement that he was only too happy to have. So he truly has no way of differentiating himself from MAGA and far too many of his supporters love all the fascism. They WANT to be the 51st State.

Ontario, Quebec, and to a lesser extent, Atlantic Canada are the only numbers that matter. All the CPC will do in Alberta is win seats they already have by even bigger margins. But the support that's bleeding away from them in the east is what will cost them the win.
