New Canadian Politics Thread

For me,

Irish Whisky > Rye > Scotch > Bourbon

So I’m pretty unbothered.

The only thing I’ll miss really is Bread & Butter wines, but there’s plenty of great European & Canadian alternatives.
My sister in law works for the company that owns B&B. They've been in crisis management mode since Trump first uttered the "T" word, trying to figure out how they can navigate through it without having to lay people off. She was down in Cali last month for a management meeting and came back to Toronto not sure how much longer she and the people who report to her would still have jobs.

The company is based in Argentina and they could make B&B with Argentinian grapes, but obviously it wouldn't taste the same and doing it could hurt their brand.

Nothing beats a peaty single malt for me.
Overly peaty whiskey is, to me, like over-hopped, IPA's. Stuff that hipsters force themselves to pretend they like because they need to seem "authentic". In my booze, I want hints of things, not to be hit over the head with them. Overly peaty whiskey tastes like you're drinking a mouthful of dirt.

Shockingly, even Danielle Smith seems to at least be acting lately like she’s realized that annexation by Trump’s USA wouldn’t be a desirable or pleasant experience.

Though we’ll see if she still feels the same way if PP doesn’t win a majority in the upcoming election and/or form our next federal government.
