For me the utility of polls is to see the trends. We know they'll be off and undercount one side vs the other. We just don't know which side that is and by how much!

Are conservatives capable of using polls though? I joke, but seriously. Pretty sure the polls looked really good for Kamala and then Lucy pulled the fucking football and here we are, living above project Gilead.

Yeah…as far as the polls go, I’m very glad that it’s not totally hopeless anymore, and that we’re not staring down the barrel of an inevitable and unavoidable four years of PM PP wielding a majority government.

But like with the US election, I refuse to get my hopes up. I’m going to continue to expect the worst, and then hopefully get a pleasant surprise on election night.

Also, another possibility we should brace ourselves for is that the youngins/Gen Z are underrepresented in the polling. And like their American counterparts, may lean a lot more far-right than previous generations.

I do expect the anti Canadians to be more than we expect and social media (elon) bullshit . So PPC.

But we are already in October compared to the US election.

Went to a 65th birthday party in Hillbilly Town, Ontario this weekend and a few people of the Maple MAGA/Fuck Trudeau variety declared they are voting PPC.

I don't know I should feel good about that or if it's kinda frightening.

In aggregate polling, Kamala was never ahead by more than a fairly small margin.

Splitting the right is a very positive outcome for the Liberals

To be fair, the outcome was within the margin of error. I , like others was fooled by the massive turnouts at her events compared to Trump.
