New Canadian Politics Thread

I assume that's the usual thing where you propose something so ridiculous that when you "settle" for just a couple more lanes on it or something, it seems almost sane
 
Won't the cost of nearly any infrastructure build be "astronomical"? Isn't that the entire point of pooling funds together as a competent society, so we can do things to better our collective lives.

I'm not sure if this project is the right one but costs shouldn't be the final factor in building a better region

Honestly I think the article does a pretty good job explaining why it’s nuts.
 



Don’t really blame them for opting for the “change” candidate en masse, when as things currently stand, younger generations are fully aware of the future that awaits them once they graduate high school. Work your ass off just to stay alive and remain a renter-for-life, never mind being able to save or afford a place of your own.

Though they’re in for a harsh lesson on what happens when you’re an economically disadvantaged person who’s put their faith in right-wing conservatives to better their situation.
