I've been saying since the start of the season that Marner has been fucking terrible by his standards. Now the points are even looking bad. Terrible season so far.

Matty has been dominant though, for the most part.

Yeah, we’ve already burned half a season on trying to allow him to play himself out of the yips at the NHL level.

The only way he should be getting called back up is either if he’s been dominant in the AHL for an extended period and/or if we’ve run out of any other healthy bodies at the NHL level.

Legit unsure if Sammy is giving or receiving handies in this situation.

Also unsure why anyone should listen to the goaltending opinions of a Blindz bitter man whoever didnt even know Martin Jones was great.
 
I have a weird suspicion that Marner is not the type of player Tre likes. Sure there's talent, but I don't think he sees him like a Kane type... more a gaudreau type. If there is anyone on the big four that could be moved, it's Marner and his dad
 
So they put-off signing him (If Friedman is correct) to explore trades that were not worth it and that helped get him more $ by waiting. Didn't we all know a trade made no sense?

Well he's back on the ice exactly 4 weeks after the injury which i think tracks exactly with Lilly.

Though maybe because he's a goalie with more stress on his ankle that changes tbe timeline still.
 
Keefe clearly just does not like or trust the guy. damn shame. hope we at least get something decent back when we eventually trade him.

He’s so fucking dumb with the bottom six, that I lean towards the latter.
 
Kind of funny that for all the wailing and moaning from Leaf Twitter when Kampf was benched for a game, not a peep about him suddenly deciding to bench one of our top prospects just as we were headed on a three-game road trip through his home state.
