I don't see a big problem there tbh.

McMann - Holmberg - Robertson
Knies - Kampf - Jarnkrok

maybe swap guys around there or put dewar in there for someone and that's still plenty of skill for a bottom 6.


But I kind of like the balanced setup, but with Nylander getting some extra shifts with Tavares and Marner in key offensive situations. that flexibility would be good.
 
I know plus minus is whatever, but every Leaf down the list of leading scorers is a plus, several significant pluses, until you get 15 players down to Dewar and Kampf who are minuses. Even Holmberg and Gio are +10 below them. Kind of incredible.

It's just these garbage fourth liners and fourth pair D guys who are bad.

Didn’t the McMann-Holmberg-Robertson trio get eaten alive during the brief amount of time they were together?

Or am I misremembering that?

Need to go back to the pat burns way with dougie. Take Nylander, matthews and Marner and sprinkle them with the bottom six throughout the game. They can take those extra 2-4 minutes each and create a lot of problems for other teams in terms of hard matching the top six. Matthews between McMatthews and Robertson. Holmberg with Marner and Robertson/mcmann. Playoff Nylander with Matthews and whichever winger you want…

We have a lot of forward talent this year if Keefe deploys the best line up. Then take the hottest three and put them on line 4 (and can include someone with a shift off to deploy a top 6 forward), Keefe has to stop being reactive and has to stop not switching the line up for poor performance even in a win.
 
The Leafs don’t actually have cap room to sign Webber unless they waive someone or send down Robertson.

Will they finally send down Robby to carry 10 D?
