I still have some hope that Niemela can be what Liljegren probably isn't. Guy has just completely crushed the nerdies in nearly every preseason game he has played in his career, no matter how the eye test looked.

Poor unSexy Nylander. His bro got both all of the sex appeal and talent, apparently.

I haven’t managed to watch all the games, but from what I did see, he never really stood out in a positive way anytime I saw him on the ice.

Too bad. Would be cool if Willy’s bro had untapped talent & could break out here. I guess since he’s on an AHL contract and doesn’t need waivers, we’ll see what, if anything, our player development staff and the Marlies can make of him.
