If McDavid wants toronto then you move marner or whoever to bring him in and make it work.
It would be like us not trading 36 yr old Willy to the Sens or some shit.
My question is: if we sign Rant, does that mean we are giving up on McJesus?
Ok, well, I’m not too sure about that example.
‘Cos if any Leaf general manager ever trades that beautiful man to the fucking Sens, I’ma pull a MNIJ and burn down that GM’s fucking house.
FIFYIf McDavid wants toronto then you move half your team or whoever to bring him in and make it work.
Mitchy trained with Nathan and Sid this summer, I wonder if Rants showed up.I didn't say he could necessarily play C "well" - i dunno how good he is there - but i did mention that he played some C for the Avs. I think i remember him doing well there by some nerdies but i'm not sure.
I also think Mitch could play C no probs. Put them together and let them share the load.
If McDavid ever comes available, you re arrange your salary structure to make him work. There's no "giving up" on him. You find the cap space, even if it fucks with your roster construction.
But unless you know something you're not supposed to know, you can't sit back and plan around the possibility of him becoming available either.
