Can he even move the puck or do anything to get the puck to our forwards? Any top 4 dman needs to do these things to be effective enough without someone carrying them.

Carlo could be a beast if he can regain his form.


Things that make me nervous: offense from d got worse than what was already a disaster, Carlo has sucked this year and no guarantee he fits with the Leafs, wish they grabbed more of an impact player for a package like what they gave up.

Granted, I guess you can say Carlo can be quite impactful if he turns back into the Carlo that I'm more familiar with. But ultimately still nervous about this one.

Things I like about the deadline:
- they went for it
- didn’t trade Cowan
- got players in their 20s with term

Things I don’t like about the deadline:
- the players they got
 
God, it really is so cool and good that the Leafs paid significantly more for Scott fucking Laughton than the Panthers had to give up for Brad Marchand.

for me the only actual black hole offensively back there is benoit.
