Ya I disagree with his level of confidence that you need a superstar goalie to win a cup or that Woll won't ever be good enough to get it done. But I wouldn't expect him to change his mind after 2 games either! Save your dunks for when they win the cup.

I mean, fuck right off, all the way off.

I include everything in the numbers I've posted a dozen times now. His NHL performance is exactly what I've said it is and I've taken the time to compare it to every stanley cup goalie over the last 10 years just today. He would have the worst track record of any goalie to make a cup finals if we make it there. Which doesn't make it impossible, just makes it very unlikely. Which is why I've said that I don't think it's going to happen.

Trying to spin this like I'm somehow being unfair to him? Go fuck yourself.

Think Wolls pedigree is being underrated a bit here. His first two pro years were bad, but it’s a real small sample size. And the next 3 are pretty solid.

The first 2 seasons includes almost as many games as the 3 you reference fwiw.

as for a comparison to Quick....I don't get it.

This is Quick's career by Woll's age right now

Better at younger ages in the NCAA, walks right in to being elite or close in the AHL at 21 yrs old, and at 22 plays 44 games of average or average plus in the league. Their pedigrees aren't much alike.
