One or two excuses & probably quite limited! The "ah fuck, here we go again" playoff thread

All I know is I'm not going into game 7 or the rest of the playoffs thinking about what he did as a 17 year old and stressing over it. #EnjoyTheMoment

So, after two great performances with basically zero playoff experience, while coming in mid-series facing elimination from the get-go, I simply asked if Mindz changed his opinion on him. I wasn't dunking on anybody. But Mindz never changes, he just digs in even more, and so it starts to look silly. That's why he can't even crack a smile when Knies kicks ass, or Tavares posts fantastic xgf stats. Nothing matters once he's taken a negative stance on a player.

According to “unconfirmed” reports it is very unlikely Auston Matthews plays game 7 tomorrow night, although the Leafs have kept it quiet reports suggest he has been dealing with a flu/stomach bug that has caused him to lose 15 pounds since game 3.

Matthews skated this morning which keefe considered “progress” but would not go into further detail.

Yup just a random thing, but hadn’t seen anything mentioned anywhere else about stomach flu and 15 pounds lost, so thought it was worth sharing. How are you sure it’s false when we don’t know what it is? The fact that he left mid game and has been skating every day does make it more likely that it’s a concussion or an “illness” which is the term the Leafs themselves used.
 
Can’t believe the Canes and Rangers start the second round the same night a first round game is playing. I don’t ever recall that happening before?
