Qqq down 6% since yesterday morning. Less than 24 hours ago. Haven't seen a dump this intense in a long long time. And it's all money leaving the market; no rotation.

Yeah. Small caps down almost 4% this am after getting killed yesterday

Regular cyclical nature of investing?
Some fairly strong signs that the economy is slowing in recent days/weeks; between McDonald's revenue decline, amazons poor showing, job data, etc. there's enough there for people to be pulling money out of the market till things stabilize. And it's a hive mentality. Price action fuels emotions which fuels further selling. Some fears that they waited too long to cut rates.

So regular cyclical shit. If anything it is a buying time.

Bigger fed cuts will come soon

Historically yeah, it's always a buying opportunity. The question is how long this will last and how far we will fall. Remember, we went up like 65% from the 2022 lows so we've been slowly pricing in cuts for a long while now. The market is forward looking. The market taking a breather is never a bad thing and is mandatory for further continuation.

I would also say the McDonald's stuff is easily explainable... they lowered portion size, jacked up prices to the point it was no longer a better option than a sit down spot. Outside of major cities you are likely to find a bar or other restaurant where you can get a burger and fries with $10 vs McDonald's $15 combos.
