Farnam said she believes “lone wolf” attacks targeting lower-level candidates and election infrastructure pose the “highest risk” in the current climate. She pointed out we have already seen this type of violence during this cycle, Some examples include the assassination attempt on Trump, shootings at a Democratic National Committee office in Arizona, and a series of threats made against campaign and election workers, for which the Department of Justice announced new charges last week

I know that #crosstabs is a controversial subject in the polling community, but the accuracy of polls is predicated on LV math, plain and simple. If the adjustment math is making bad assumption, the polls are going to have a major blindspot.

What are the assumptions being made, and how? I'm going to steal the language from an Emerson poll out this week in NC & WI.

Now, I cautioned about this months ago:

The polls having some sort of a hidden anti Trump bias in this cycle is super, super unlikely. The polls having a hidden anti Harris bias looks really, really likely when you peel back the onion a few layers, even within polls from firms that aren't trying to generate biased data.

It's true. I find a lot of what were my favourite comics from 5 years ago to be unlistenable today.

Most of the shit they're unhappy about being unable to say is hacky anyway. I look at someone like Jeselnik, who touches just about every 3rd rail imaginable in his acts over the years, but it's never done in a way to punch down and it's fucking hilarious.

He's a guy who has actually been legitimately "cancelled" for his material and had a somewhat popular comedy central show yanked after 1 season.

Art is "getting away with it" otherwise, you're just a troll.
