i might look into doing this at some point. was it an ok experience?

Did it for a bunch city elections. Was an absolute blast. Basically my role was to supervisor 4 polling stations so I just drive back and forth between them sorting out any issues. Confirming the machine count matched the ballot count at the end of the day, etc.

I'd recommend working at a polling station to everyone.
