Missouri voters voted for increased minimum wage, abortion rights, and paid sick leave and then picked a prez and senator who opposed those things, lol. Okay good luck.

A major voter issue was protecting democracy.

So they elected an Autocrat.

This is the same, but worse. The true believers will always find another group to outsource their blame onto. Today its the illegal immigrants...probably the legal ones after that. That's the small pep talk I gave myself last night...this doesn't effect me much at all. Still on pace to move to Mexico completely debt free with a very comfortable asset base at 47-48 yrs old.

This is mostly my empathy that is all angsty and shit.

This is tough to judge because I'm still not sold that the ability to wrangle this coalition outlives Trump and he looks turrible.

yeah I mean I hope I'm well placed to be minimally affected, but the risks are so obvious and high.

think about what covid did to global supply chains and our ability to buy things.

then imagine trump taxes instead... and Elon talking about how there needs to be pain...

I think its absurdly optimistic to think we won't be affected by this, but would be happy to be wrong here...
