OT: American Politics

anyways, now that trump likely has a trifecta, he won't have any excuses for why he cannot pass legislation. and he will have to own the global recession he seems intent on starting. I give it about six months before his approval rating tanks. but so many people are going to suffer so much that did not need to.

Don’t understand why not just go for Kari Lake given all the other decisions made? Seems weird to draw the line at her for some reason.

we both clearly lack some understanding of american voters... but yeah... I really don't get it.

Dems need to find a centrist strong white man if they ever want to win against Vance and his backers (if there is an election ever agian )

Those won’t be the only border crossings. Once he starts rounding up people in camps and carrying out the mass deportations he promised, where do you think a lot of people are going to flee to?
 
By the way, I read something last night on this thread about Shapiro being the VP nominee and how the mob got to her because of his Jewish faith.
Well, guess what she’s about to lose all seven swing states. That’s historic in terms of underperformance. So the Jewish or the Pennsylvania vote would not have mattered.

Too much inertia with this smoke and mirrors crappy economy. That, combined with internal economic warfare against Trump, will doom the economy under him unfortunately.

When they screwed Bernie they way they did, only a world wide pandemic saved them from having another Dem prez for one term otherwise we might be seeing a Pence presidency rn
