If i were the dems, i'd spend the next 4yrs spending all political capital fighting tooth and nail on the issues regarding elections and the rule of law, and just let maga do what it wants in terms of economic policy.

Let the voters feel the real impacts of that economic policy for once. But do everything you can to make sure there's still a way to ensure everyone's votes count next time they have a choice.

Will Vance even allow any election where republicans don’t win to go through tho? He can stop it as a VP with the courts on their side?
