An old comment of yours from 2016 popped up on my FB feed and it remains valid. You need to give people a reason to vote for you and not just against the other guy/girl. Following Clinton's script of me good, he bad is not sufficient.

Chattering classes love to talk about fascism but steelworkers don't care. Saying women have penises and men have babies might reasonate in Hollywood and Manhattan but it won't in Flint and Green Bay.

Know your audience. Having the wife of a VP candidate saying she loved the smell of burning rubber in May 2020 doesn't help to get votes from business owners who lost everything during the riots.

Last, a VP candidate calling the entire other side weird is probably not a good idea, especially when he probably saw his son hurt for being called weird for being on the spectrum.

No group shoots itself in the foot better than the Democrats
