Oh absolutely. But that's equipment they're going to have to retire (at cost). There are no international buyers for that equipment, especially not at the prices they were "paying" themselves to donate it to Ukraine.

Self interest is powerful. It's just that the western world got scooped up post WW2 by the US and we tacitly agreed that US interests were our interests and we all went along with it. Was a good deal for everyone. The US appears to not want to be in on the deal anymore, and our individual self interests will start to re emerge. Europe is about to stretch it's legs and realize how strong it is imo. They need to hit the gym for a bit and put the work in, but if unified they're a world power nearly on par with the US and far stronger than China.
