I remember seeing a thing on TV years ago about how the federal government had an agency funded to help people in coastal areas rebuild after natural disasters. Not the poors in Louisianaor Mississippi, of course, but the rich assholes with beach houses in the Hamptons, on the Florida coast, and in places like Malibu.

I think any province, or individual who wishes to sellout to the US should be put on a test-pilot. I think the easiest test would be to simply force them to pay for all of their healthcare needs up front, and then try to collect it themselves. Allow their employers to fire them "at-will", no notice or severance required. Lower their wages, especially those earning near minimum. Mandatory employment drug testing. Scrap your "tenant rights", and allow your landlord to rule your tenancy like the wild west. I could go on..

Yeah, I don't think the average Canadian understands how different and difficult things are for middle class (and lower) Americans. They just know they don't like what's going on here and don't grasp that things can infact be worse.
