Certain areas in the southwest portion of NL that are continously hammered by storm surges are no longer habitatable and residents were offered a government settlement to sell and relocate.

There is arson. Don’t discount the lived experiences of people living there and who grew up there.

Climate change has surely contributed a great part in the scale of this. But this is not normal.

Fire by arson is almost always a thing that swirls and like a second shooter it is almost always wrong.


But the key point is..
The lived experience of ppl there is likely shaped by the shitty posts on social media. Directly and indirectly.
