What is certain is that Trump will wage economic warfare against Canada in a futile attempt to get us to “beg” to join the US. That is undeniable, because it has already started.

Can Trump’s worst instincts be kept in check by people who know how stupid and unachievable his objectives are? Ummm… Maybe? Unfortunately, I don’t have confidence that the people who know better have his attention this time around.

You have to get social media, large corps, and his maga mob to go after him for the high prices in responce to tariffs. His ego won’t be able to take that

Thing is, fortress North America could easily have remained a self sustained, unified trade block that was resistant to basically any outside influence impacting our economies. I think the US is in the middle of torching that though.
