That was always going to be a feature of a second Trump administration. “The adults in the room”, as flawed as they all were, have been completely purged from the administration.
And then the plan (which is already well underway) is also to purge all of those people from federal law enforcement, the judiciary, military and civil service as well, and as quickly as possible.
