They're not going to get anything. Ukraine can't capitulate and Europe will agree to back them enough that they don't have to. So instead of getting preferential access to the minerals they want on a fair deal, their desire to fuck Ukraine is going to lead to Zelensky doing a Wonka speech on Ukie TV

I'm several klicks behind y'all, and had been wondering about Starlink's usage in Ukraine. What have the Ukrainians been able to sub in to keep comms, etc., going?

They use starlink for a lot of their drone targeting. I don't know specifics but my basic understanding is that starlink is more accurate for drone use than regular GPS, which commonly has a position error distance of about 5-7 feet. I know there are modules that can be installed to improve that, but I don't know what that does to jamming resistence, and any other usability issues.

I kind of doubt that they run essential comms through Starlink already, considering the fact that it's a commercial system owned by a fucking maniac who has fucked them a handful of times already over the years.
