Trump cannot stand being beside someone who is a celebrity turned war hero president with actual bravery in war. Against Putin none the less.

Remember, this whole piss tantrum of theirs started over Zelensky stating that Putin was untrustyworthy re:ceasefires.

Which of course he is. They both lost it after that.

and the thing is if they get their asses in gear now they have a fighting chance.

Europe+AUK+Canada+ is a very healthy bloq economically and resource-wise if they can get on the same page quickly.

of course they wouldn;t be able to stand up to a a US-RUS-CHI-SA bloq but dictatorships never play well with each other so i don't know that that's a real concern.

China is more likely to shiv Russia to deepen European ties than they are to side with them against Europe. China is selling Ukraine the fibre optic cable they're using in the new generation of unjammable drones that the Ukies are using to incredible effect at the moment.

China has no need to ally with anyone - ESPECIALLY if the US splits from Europe. But they have plenty of reason to fluff donnie.

China is the ultimate in thinking very long term. And as much as they want economic advantage over the world I do believe they value stability and reliable partners.
