As a measles outbreak in Texas has grown to nearly 150 cases, US Health and Human Services Sec. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said in an opinion piece on Fox News on Sunday that parents should consult with health-care providers “to understand their options to get the MMR vaccine” for their children.

I don’t think it’s really possible to overstate the historical significance of that White House meeting.
The US is now unequivocally on the side of the invading party in the war, and demanding reparations from the country that was invaded. The rationale is beyond flimsy, and yet the entire Republican political establishment is fully on board. What this says about the US’s own imperialist objectives in the future is, frankly, terrifying.
The rest of the world has been taking American leadership for granted for decades. Those days are over. It’s probably a welcome change but it’s going to be a huge mess.

Simply referring to it as Kruschev's mistake gives away the game there. that's pure Putin talking point. The Kremlin put Crimea under Ukie administration because they found it to be ungovernable.
