There's a Michigander working as a server at a local restaurant here in London and we were making small talk. I asked him how he felt about everything going on in US politics right now and he literally had no idea what was happening. All he could mention was the bad exchange rate. So many people, especially young people, really just don't care.
And to be honest, when I was 20 I had no clue what was going on and didn't care either. Although the degree of the shit happening now is obviously on another level.
