I get that is difficult to understand the frustration people have with a broken Washington. The tensions are palpable here. To a great many, she wasn't a no-brainer choice.

Here's the thing...I understand the frustration, what I don't understand and have no sympathy for is the lack of understanding in what the problem actually is and what can be done about it.

Your premise is that the problem is uniform. It isn't. For those whose lives haven't improved, or even become tolerable, under the Democrat mantra Trump was the nuclear option. They punched that ticket.

Now they will have to deal with the nuclear fallout.

Yeah, after he was forced to. He defended Farrakhan blindly until unequivocally proven wrong, he then had to tuck his arrogant tail between his legs and repent.

This is why I think zeke nailed the Alt-right movement with 'immature pseudo intellectuals'. Trump is the epitome of it. He wanted power, he thought he deserved it, and he didn't give a crap what he had to do to make it happen. It's like those kids that kill their parents and justify it by saying 'but yeah, they promised to pay for my college and then went back on their promise'. The voters are the same. Fags are having sex, I can't take it anymore, get someone in there who will destroy them. They are so focused on their needs, that they're willing to kill someone if it means getting their way. They aren't all that different from SJW's.

Offbase. It was Clinton that came off as thinking she was entitled to it and deserved it. Bill even flat out said it. Clinton would do anything to win, it wasn't enough.

Trump never thought he'd get this far. Look at the footage. He's shell-shocked. Nobody that thinks they deserve it would be that unprepared and shocked.

20+ years ago he wrote an article saying farrakhan wasn't an anti semite and then did some organizing work in relation to the millino man march w the nation of islam.

this is about as truthful as obama 'palling around' with the weather underground.

Nah, I don't buy this. Pretty much everywhere Trump had significant support it was the same reasons given. Immigration (Mexicans), Terrorism (Muslims), Jobs (globalization).

They also tended to show really emotional, very unsophisticated views on those issues. In fact, the very idea that we should expect them to have sophisticated views on any of the issues they claimed to care a lot about, led to the rest of us being shouted down for "not caring" or not understanding their concerns.

It was all about their feels. Which became even sillier after the election when we found out that the median income of his voters was 72K a year.

I don't see it that simple. This is personal experience but those I know that voted for Trump range from a guy that owns his own lawn care business to a doctor that abhors Obamacare to an 87 year old lifelong Democrat. This phenomenon is not so cut and dry. Really the only thing i could see that any of them have in common is a desire to see Washington burn. As I told them before the election, it won't happen.
