Nah, I don't buy this. Pretty much everywhere Trump had significant support it was the same reasons given. Immigration (Mexicans), Terrorism (Muslims), Jobs (globalization).
They also tended to show really emotional, very unsophisticated views on those issues. In fact, the very idea that we should expect them to have sophisticated views on any of the issues they claimed to care a lot about, led to the rest of us being shouted down for "not caring" or not understanding their concerns.
It was all about their feels. Which became even sillier after the election when we found out that the median income of his voters was 72K a year.
Yep...as I said many pages ago. The couch sucks and the paint is terrible...but shopping for new furniture and painting the house is hard work (aka, actually maintaining your democracy in between votes)...let's burn the ****ing place down.
Nihilism.
Agreed.Yes, but nihilism isn't the answer. And it's basically a tantrum from people who haven't been actively engaged in their democracy for decades now. I've been ignoring the process for years and now I don't like what it's turned into...waaaaaah....burn it!!!
Like ****ing children.
Well, misattributed to Churchill...who is the clever one now? It's you man!
I guess I was wrong about google. It seems to have served you pretty well just there.
Read? What? You must not be American. The last refuge of the idiot. Accuse the other guy of googling. Some of us read.
Everyone reads.
Wikipedia.
You're projecting again, idiot.
With stunning accuracy.
Like always.
When is America going to be great again?
Make sure you stick around for it.
I have read all these polls, and news articles, and the statistics don't lie. These companies make their money being accurate.
There is no way that Donald Trump will win the election.
As I've said, it's always someone else's fault. Hence you have President-Elect Trump.I've had a lot of people in my life who were on disability, or unemployed/under-employed, social assistance, and it's been beyond striking how many of them believe in conspiracies. (mostly government related conspiracies) There is certainly nothing wrong with any of these situations, but you can't help jump to the obvious conclusion..these people are failing at life..a lot of them aren't very mature or responsible..so they essentially have to come up with bs conspiracies to justify their place in the world.

Which polls were wrong?
As has been repeated to you a bunch of times, the best of the bunch, Nate Silver, gave Trump a 30% chance.
