To be fair - the reasoning in r v w is fairly weak. It’s a privacy decision.Yep. I mean the Court could always, and has, reversed decisions that were incorrectly decided. Although in the past that has typically been to expand rights, not shrink them. But the process here is crazy. You can strategically use the Supreme Court to attack constitutional rights based on ideology, rather than the law itself. Talk about undermining the integrity of the court. It means nothing now.
what is this leak leads to other controversial, undemocratic Supreme Court documents getting leaked? The leaker ruined the suspense.

Quite a lot of people who believe the leak came from conservatives to lock the five justices into their votes. Also pointing to the immediate reaction all appearing to be coordinated/in lockstep calling it an “insurrection”.
So hard to judge this. I could also see it coming from a liberal who saw the writing on the wall and leaked this as a last ditch effort to put pressure on the judges. These judges can always say, this was a draft, votes change often till the last minute, and that they had a lot of deliberation to do etc.Quite a lot of people who believe the leak came from conservatives to lock the five justices into their votes. usually the fascists make the loudest accusations about things they have actually done themselves. so yes, I agree.Agreed. Think there’s some pretty compelling arguments in threads by former Republicans and former SCOTUS clerks that the leak wasn’t even a liberal though.
Gorsuch wasn’t a lock, IMO.they were always locked in.
Based on the Idaho law? No... and AFAIK no state has a statute of limitations on murder..Just some random thoughts on what happens from here.
If you live in a state where abortion is legally considered murder and you travel to a legal state to get an abortion, is there anything to stop your home state from charging you with murder when you get back (if they find out, of course)?
How long until some deep red state makes it a capital offense to obtain or provide an abortion?
What does one of these red states do if they catch a pregnant woman trying to obtain an abortion? Do they start setting up specialized for-profit internment camps where women are kept under lock & key until they’re forced to carry the pregnancy to term?
How much of a direct hand will religious organizations be given in all this? Do evangelical and/or Catholic organizations start setting & up and operating state-approved modern versions of the Magdalene laundries?
The horrifying dystopian ways this all can and will go are kind of endless.
Gorsuch wasn’t a lock, IMO.
